Kedarnath trek is considered to be most beautiful & divine Himalayan trek. This trekking point located in Rudraprayag district and elevated at an altitude of 3584 meter near the Mandakini River in Uttarakhand and brings the legendary values for both the religious and the sporty trekkers. Due to heavy snowfall during winters; the temple open only between the ends of April to Kartik Purnima mid November. During winters, the idol dropped at Ukhimath from Kedarnath Dham and idolized there for 6 month.
