The Beatles Ashram gained prominence after the Beatles stayed here in February 1968. In fact, that was one of the major reasons that made Rishikesh a known name in the list of world tourist attractions. Though officially known as the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, this one became quite a favourite with lovers of music and spirituality. You can take a tour of the famous ashram to soak in its mystical aura. The interesting part of the ashram was the vibrant Beatles Cathedral Gallery. Located in an abandoned hall, the Beatles Cathedral Gallery is a colorful open space full of images of love and peace.
